As a seasoned product manager with years of industry experience, when it comes to choosing #sunglasses, just keep the following four points in mind.
First, look for the UV400 label. This is the minimum requirement! Even if the sunglasses are extremely stylish, do not purchase them without this label. Dark – tinted lenses without UV protection can cause the pupils to dilate, allowing more ultraviolet rays to enter the eyes directly, which can be more harmful to the eyes than not wearing sunglasses at all.
Second, choose the lens color according to your usage. For daily driving or shopping, gray lenses are recommended as they do not distort the original colors of objects and provide the most accurate perception of traffic lights. For outdoor sports or driving on mountain roads, brown lenses are a better choice as they enhance contrast and offer clearer vision. Other colored lenses are mainly for decoration and have less effective eye – protection functions compared to the previous two.
Third, select the frame according to your face shape. Remember this mnemonic: for round faces, choose square frames to add sharpness; for square faces, choose round frames to soften the lines; oval – shaped faces can generally pair well with any frame style.
Fourth, the try – on experience is of utmost importance. The sunglasses should not pinch your head, and the nose pads should fit snugly without slipping. Hold the sunglasses and move them slowly in front of a light source. If straight lines (such as window frames) appear distorted, it indicates that the lenses are uneven, which may cause dizziness when worn, so do not buy them!
By following these four points, you can select a pair of sunglasses that not only protect your eyes but also suit you perfectly.
